Born and raised in the Gallatin Valley, Ryan brings over a decade of expertise in heavy equipment and diesel mechanics to his role as Foreman and Lead Mechanic at Greater Gallatin Contractors. A graduate of Belgrade High School (2005), he pursued his passion for diesel technology at MSU-Northern in Havre, MT, earning an Associate's Degree in 2010.
After graduation, Ryan honed his skills at Torgerson's LLC, where he worked as a field service technician and earned several Master certifications. His career in the off-highway industry continued at Titan Machinery and later back at Torgerson's following Titan’s acquisition. In 2023, he expanded his expertise by rebuilding military LMTVs and FMTVs for the civilian market at Acela Truck Company.
A proud veteran of the Montana Army National Guard, Ryan served from 2003 to 2009 with the 1-163rd Infantry, where he gained hands-on experience in track and wheeled vehicle maintenance, Abrams tank maintenance, and recovery operations as a Recovery NCO in Butte, MT.
When he's not leading the mechanic shop at Greater Gallatin Contractors, Ryan enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his wife and children, whether it’s bow and rifle hunting, hiking, or traveling across Montana. A passionate metal music fan, he’s traveled to Donington Park in the UK for the Download Festival, where he saw his favorite band, Korn, live for the first time alongside legends like Rammstein, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath.
